Children’s Art Summer Workshop 2007

This year the project
will be to make short animations. The workshops will involve painting, drawing,
construction, modeling, fabric work, storyboarding, photography, scriptwriting
and sound recording. This project has been designed to develop children’s
skills and ideas by using a variety of art and linguistic processes. The content
of the animations will evolve out of themes explored during the making process
and from storyboarding workshops where children will work in pairs to animate
their characters and develop scripts.
The summer programme will be led by visual artist Julie Forrester.
The children’s Art Summer Workshop will run from:
Monday 2nd– Friday 6th July
for children between 6 – 8 years old
Monday 9th – Friday 13th July
for children between 9 – 13 years old
Monday 20th – Friday 24th August
for children between 7 – 10 years
old
Time: Monday to Friday, from 10 am to 3 pm.
